About

Kimberley Alpine Resort

A sunny mountain resort built around glades, long runs, and relaxed days on snow.

Kimberley Alpine Resort sits about 30 minutes from Cranbrook, set between the Selkirk and Rocky Mountains in the Purcell Range. Known for its clear days and light Purcell powder, the resort pairs dependable snowfall with a laid-back atmosphere that keeps people skiing longer and smiling more.

With over 1,800 acres of terrain, Kimberley Alpine Resort offers a wide range of skiing and riding. The mountain is especially known for its expansive gladed terrain, the largest of its kind in North America, alongside long intermediate cruisers, a newly enhanced beginner area, and steeper lines for advanced skiers and riders. In total, the resort features more than 60 marked trails and glades spread across North Star Mountain.

Night skiing adds another layer to the experience, running Thursday through Saturday evenings on the main run, with the rail park also open.

Kimberley Alpine Resort balances terrain, sun, and space in a way that feels unforced. It’s a mountain that rewards both full days on snow and unhurried winter getaways.
