A QUIET WAY TO EXPERIENCE THE MOUNTAINS ON HORSEBACK
Freedom Equine Association offers boutique horseback trail rides designed for small groups seeking space, calm, and a personal connection to the landscape. These rides move away from crowds and set routes, creating an experience shaped around time, place, and the people riding.
The focus is on presence and pace, with guides tailoring each outing to the riders involved.
BOUTIQUE TRAIL RIDES
Freedom Equine’s boutique trail rides are limited to a maximum of three guests, allowing guides to adapt the ride to individual ability and interests. Rides take place across 10,000 acres of wilderness, moving through mountain terrain where wildlife such as elk, deer, and bighorn sheep may be seen.
Options range from short outings to half-day, full-day, and sunset rides. Additional elements such as lunch, snacks, or a bottle of wine for sunset rides can be added to shape the experience further.
Trail rides are based out of Bull River, with additional locations offered throughout the Elk Valley.
CAMPS AND EVENTS
Beyond trail rides, Freedom Equine Association hosts camps and events that bring people together through shared experiences with horses. These include special events, clubs, fundraisers, and camp-style programming designed to support connection and personal growth.
These gatherings form a core part of the organization’s community-focused approach.
