A LODGE STAY WITH NATURE AT THE DOORSTEP

Elizabeth Lake Lodge is a Canadian alpine-style lodge in Cranbrook with direct access to the Elizabeth Lake Bird Sanctuary. Trails begin right outside the building, offering immediate connection to a protected wetland landscape enjoyed by nature lovers.

The lodge is Canadian owned and family operated, with a focus on comfort, space, and a setting that feels close to the land.

ROOMS AND SUITES

Accommodation includes rooms and suites with full kitchens, designed to support longer stays and independent travel. Every room overlooks Elizabeth Lake Bird Sanctuary, with French-style windows and European flower boxes at each window.

Bathrooms feature heated Italian tile floors, and beds are British-designed Hypnos mattresses. Family suites include separate bedrooms for groups travelling together.

AMENITIES ON SITE

Guests have access to a fitness room, BBQs and picnic tables, an open deck with a gas fireplace, and walking trails that begin at the lodge. High-speed wireless internet is available in all rooms.

Dog-friendly rooms, hypoallergenic rooms, and locally made soaps are offered. Seasonal treats such as locally sourced ice cream and Hawaiian shave ice are available during summer months.

MINI GOLF AT THE LODGE

An 18-hole, par 70 mini golf course is located on site and open to the public during the operating season. The course has been voted the most challenging mini golf course in Canada and is designed to be engaging for both adults and children.

Guests receive discounted access, and no reservations are required.

LOCATION AND SETTING

Elizabeth Lake Lodge is the only accommodation in Cranbrook with direct trail access to the Elizabeth Lake Bird Sanctuary. Wildlife viewing opportunities begin just steps from the rooms, with common sightings including songbirds, waterfowl, muskrats, turtles, and deer.
